Advertising Manager

The advertising manager directs advertising and promotional campaigns. An advertising manager is responsible for:

  • Working with sales staff and others to generate ideas for the campaign
  • Overseeing a creative staff that develops the advertising
  • Working with finance to develop cost estimates for the campaign
  • Maintaining communication between the firm requiring the advertising and the marketing and advertising agencies

Marketing Manager

The marketing manager works with advertising and promotion managers to promote the firm’s products and services. They work to identify potential markets for the marketing and advertising agencies. The marketing manager monitors trends and works to oversee product development.

Sales Manager

The Sales manager directs the distribution of the product or service to the customer. They choose sales locations, set sales standards, and establish training for sales representatives. The sales manager maintains statistics to determine future sales potential and to monitor customer preferences.
